Everybody in the world is thinking about the next 10 percent. How do you think about a 10x improvement in an industry? Our role is how do you apply a technology to that—to fundamentally transform that industry? Think about the implications to this. If you are successful, there’s no competition, because you’re creating something that has never been created before. You’ve got an opportunity to really define a market. Second, it really inspires people to think big about the aspirations of the company and how they could do something that really does change the overall trajectory of an industry.
Apple Updates: iOS 8.4, OS X 10.10.4 und iTunes 12.2 released.
Apple hat gestern Abend nicht nur, wie auf der letzten WWDC angekündigt, iOS 8.4 und iTunes 12.2 mit seinem neuen Streamingdienst Apple Music und Beats 1 Radio an den Start gebracht, sondern auch noch das Update OS X 10.10.4 für Yosemite. Wer ein paar Apple Devices im Besitz hat, so wie in meinem Fall, hat vermutlich ein wenig zu tun um seine Schätzchen mit den neuen Apple Updates auf Stand zu bringen.
Spotify Engineering Culture.
Seit einiger Zeit beschäftige ich mich intensiv mit den Themen Continous Integration/Continuous Delivery und agilen Methoden in der Softwareentwicklung. In zwei hochinteressanten Videoanimation beschreiben die Spotify-Entwickler, wie sie den Weg der agilen Softwareentwicklung beschreiten. Absolut sehens- und nachdenkenswert!

For single tracks you need to create an account in the mercedes.me portal, but there the tracks will be made available a few weeks later.

Tipp: Folder Icons in OS X ändern.
Wer seine Folder Icons in OS X ändern möchte, kann dies wie im Folgenden ganz einfach mit Bordmitteln tun.
Dabei läßt sich nicht nur die Farbe des Folders ändern, sondern auch das ganze Icon kann gegen ein eigenes Icon nach Wunsch ausgetauscht werden.
Tipp: Last used Items im Dock anzeigen.
